When you took over as Special Manager you received all the loan applications, all the loan applications that were at the Bank. Did you not check them over with the accounts of the Bank to see if they were all present?.
I did not then get a list to whom loans had been made.

They were handed over to by myself, did you not check that they were in order?.
I do not think I did at the time, I think I handed them over to the official Receiver.
Have you since found documente missing that should have been there?, Any applications for loans that should have been there?.

Yes, you have already told me that there are certain persons whose names appear on the list and for whom you found no applications, so that there is a shortage in the applications. There is some
mistake.
The only point is that these loans might have been made
• as far as taking the books as correct there are some loans in respect of which You can find no applications. When you took over and went through the paper you found names on the books of persons purported to owe money and you found no applications?.
